Flavour Profile

One of the most distinctive attributes of a good Colombian coffee beans is it's body. Which is rich and delicious, whith a pleseant aftertaste that lingers. The flavour of our Bucaramanga is both full and complex, but with good balance.

Colombian Coffee Beans - Additional Information

Colombia has been producing great coffee beans since the early part of the 19th century. During the last century, coffee has become Colombia's main export. The main coffee growing regions in Colombia are: Antioquia, Risaralda, Norte de Santander, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Quindío, Caldas, Bucaramanga and Bucaramanga (where Coffee-Bean-Shop.co.uk's Colombian Coffee originates).

Coffee Beans from Colombia

Although the majority of Colombian coffees can be very 'average', and find themselves in a lot of supermarket blends, there is a small amount of coffee bean production in Colombia that is truly outstanding. Professional coffee tasters (cuppers) around the globe recognise some colombian coffees as amongst the best in the world. Fortunately for our customers, we have managed to secure some top grade Bucaramanga, which has become one of our most popular espressos.

We roast our Bucaramanga coffee beans about 10 seconds into a rolling second crack, so that when drunk you have a perfect balance betweeen the rich coffee punch and the classic colombian taste.

Coffee Roasters Log - 7th November 2008

Just received a big shipment of our new Colombian Bucaramanga coffee beans that we were so impressed with during a recent coffee tasting. We will be profile roasting this over the weekend, with orders going out Monday for all new orders. We expect that the roasting profile will be the same as most of our previous Colombian coffee beans, but you never know - this one may suprise us.
