Kenya Gethumbwini Estate Coffee Beans - Additional Information

Kenyan Gethumbwini is the current 'favourite' Kenyan coffee of the gourmet coffee marketplace. This year’s Gethumbwini coffee beans are absolutely fantastic and certainly will not disappoint.

Coffee Beans - Kenya

The Gethumbwini estate is infamous for producing coffees that are consistently among the very best that Kenya has to offer. Recent droughts and political unrest has affected the availability of good Gethumbwini estate coffee, but this year it is back and ready to be enjoyed.

The Gethumbwini estate is located just south of Mount Kenya . The coffee trees grow in the red volcanic soils of the region, and the coffee can be compared to a vintage red wine.

Coffee Roasters Log - 7th November 2008

This Kenyan coffee from the famous Gethumbwini Estate has become one of our favourites in a cafetiere or metal filter, but it also suprised us with its ability to work well in an espresso shot. What a great coffee.
